It’s a long weekend and I’m finally making good on a long-delayed plan to check out Death Valley and go on some hikes (I bought a compass).
So today’s been a day of driving and getting our bearings, tomorrow will be a day of adventures and not getting lost (again, I am the owner of a compass). It’s gonna be fun, and after spending ages enjoying simulated adventures, it’ll be fun to go on one in real life — even if I’m less likely to find Materia or kyber crystals along the way.
But still, I’m looking forward to it. Getting to use a map and find my way like Nathan Drake. And figure out where I’m going, ‘cuz, y’know, I’ve got a compass.
