I got a couple rolls of film developed and decided, you know what, I’m going to post some of them here. Because it’s my blog and I can do what I want, and if that means sometimes it becomes a photoblog, so be it.
Besides, photoessays are still essays, aren’t they?
Death Valley, lford Delta 3200. Probably could have gotten a better exposure.Astoria, Queens, Ilford Delta 3200. I find that the Delta film was much better on people than landscapes, the buildings here offer an interesting contrast that I think works.Midtown Manhattan, CineStill 800. The starbursts were not intentional but I love how they make the lights pop. Plus that line of light from the passing car.Venice, CineStill 800. Background is a little overexposed, but hey, I still dig the dimension of it all.
